It is a warm Saturday afternoon in New York. A group of 12 runners has gathered to have some Pizza, get further instructions, and to enjoy the last few precious moments of relaxation before they embark on the hardest task imaginable, run 3100 miles.

3100-Mile Race start in 2016
The twentieth edition of the Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race will start on June 19, 6AM in New York. There are 12 runners from 8 countries at the starting line. We have two rookies: Shamita from Austria and Volodymyr Hlushchuk from Ukraine. The deadline of 52 days will end on August 9 at midnight. Stay tuned!
